Hiya

I know there is the garage and the project forums, but what about a section for posting pictures of your pride and joy as is? It's nice to be able to browse over finished mini's to get ideas etc.

Sort of - but every user has an entry in the garage and most people haven't uploaded pictures so its a nightmare just browsing through. What about if I've just popped on a new pair of headlights as an example and want to show them off. Not really a rebuild thread and no-one would ever see in the garage?

Just a thought. How hard is it to browse for pictures of completed mini's on here for inspiration?

To be honest I would imagine another section in a similar vein to the Garage section or projects section would just end up being a large waste of bandwidth. With people posting up pictures that are already on the forum ten times over...

Most people tend to shove pictures up of their latest parts in their project threads, and if they don't have a thread then they post in Minichat - lots of people go in there and there's lots of threads made by people who would like to show off their shiny bits to the forum

I accept - my suggestion has been quashed . I've used other forums (for other marques) where there is a 'gallery' and it seems popular and there is no gallery on this forum, apart from one pinned thread in mini chat.

If you want to see the finished article, sort the forum by number of replies etc. =)
