Mpi Sensor Grounds - Where Are They?

The car is running but not as well as I think it could be. It ticks over ok but seems to hunt a bit at idle and is fairly lethargic on acceleration.
I have also noticed that the fan seems to cut in regularly. I have read various posts about bad sensor grounds causing the ECU to be out on
various calculations which certainly makes sense. So I'd like to ensure these are all really clean before I start considering swapping things out.
Question is where are all the sensor ground points? I found one just behind the ECU itself and another mutli-ground point seems to be under the expansion tank - god knows how you are supposed to get at it.
Any others I'm missing?
On the same track, with the airfilter box removed, would you expect the engine to stall if the throttle air intake is blocked? - I tested this as I thought perhaps the engine could be drawing air in somewhere and weakening the mixture. On mine the engine revs drop, there is a fair suction and it struggles but it does not stall - however given all the breather pipes etc I wondered if this was normal after all?
Many thanks for any replies or other suggestions.

Recently had my MPi recommissioned after several years off the road. Had a John Cooper S wrks kit fitted at the same time.

Hi,
Checkout page 24 of this PDF for your earth/ground points:
http://www.theminifo...x...st&id=68242
You can probably find everything you might need for your MPI on this thread, particularly on the last page.

Good Luck,

Ivan, great pointer - many thanks.
Anyone have any thoughts on my other related question?
Jeff
