Well, i can't vouch for the boot lid, but i bought some fibreglass rear doors for a van/estate. They were absolutely dreadful....!!!! By far the worst fibreglass work i have ever seen.

I had a MK1 bootlid in fiberglass and a carbon composite clubby bonnet, both spot on, excellent quality and fit, and fast service too!!
That said if buying carbon fibre save up and use www.carbonweezel.com his stuff is awsome.

Expect lots of fettling to fit, but that is to be expected from aftermarket pannels, steel and composite..
Self adhesive rubber strip around the edge of the bootskin is a good idea to prevent fretting and water ingress, theres a company on ebay that sell a lock kit to retain your original chrome external lock to use on single skin stuff, about £10..

http://www.theminifo...l=discount code
however, since 2006 the 20% doesnt include carbon fibre items, thats 10% but interestingly the actual prices are still the same from 2006 - NO INCREASE!!, so -

on ABS Group in-house fibreglass items there is 20% discount using the following code - MFORM06ABS

for all other products there is 10% discount using the following code - MFORM06

your user name MUST be put in the comments section at time of order

if no user name is given or the 20% discount code is used on items other than the ABS Group in-house items then the order will be declined.

Hey guys, anyone got pics from a bonnet light pod from ABS? I really love it, but for me its not for rallying (i would use 55w). Easy to fix on the bonnet? Many thx Fozz, Belgium.
