Well someone has hit my mini, the insurance want to know how much its worth... i have said £1200-1500, but i would like to know your opinions.

he is a 1971 Austin Mini 1000







some of the parts he has:

fixed fibreglass front end and bonnet
1100cc engine with cooper Head and twin carbs
Original Cooper S discs
10x5 Gemini wheels
original cosmic wheel arches
original clubman rear bumper
lucas reversing lamp
raydyot spots and matching fogs
original 60's works dash
cooper 100mph speedo
original mk3 steering column and switchpanel
innocenti door pockets
cobra cub speedwell logo seats

Personally, I think it should be worth £1500-£2000 with those mods.

i am not a totall expert but the older the rarer = more expensive, i reckon about 2000?

id say 2.5k for the year and condition easily

If you still have the car and they try and rip you off take all your stuff back off it before they take it if that makes sense

Id say because of its age id ask for 2.5k but aim to get 2k with anything over being a bonus.
