I just saw a picture of someone with A burgundy mini with colour matching Superlites. And it looked fantastic. I have Superlites on my Mini, at the moment they're black, but are due for a respray. At the moment they're going to be sprayed black again, but I'm really tempted to spray the wheels the same colour as the car- except for the outer lip, that can be silver. This would really damage the sellability- No one would want Superlites in Nightwatch Blue 2- But i think It would look great on my car. Plus don't see many Minis with colour matching wheels, so it would make the car a little more unique.

What do you think? should i go for Blue?

here's a link to the car as it is, the arches are getting resprayed blue soon too.

Colour matched wheels always look good. Im painting my mini matt black and ive just bought some matt black superlites for it.

Looks great.

Go for it!

I think you should do it, you don't see many minis with colour matched wheels. They can easily be stripped of the paint if you want to sell them.

Yup, i think i'm going to get it done. My dad knows a guy who can do the whole thing for £50, if we supply the paint, which i already have anyway.

Here's the wheels on the car at the moment, i think getting the wheels blue/silver would look fantastic.

there was a tahiti blue mini in the mini mag either last issue or issue before, kid who now works in F1, had had superlites with the dish painted to match! might be worth a look!
