im 16 and have recently bought a early 80s mini city lots of work to be done to it ,bought all new panels for it ,8 months to get it done before im 17 on a budget of zero pounds lol great looking mini best of luck with it

Just remember, Ebay, the classifieds section and scrapyards are your friends! Have you got any pictures of your project or a project thread?
Where abouts are you as well? Edit: just noticed, Northern Ireland

Sounds like a dodgey earth if the solenoid was clicking?

I did think that, but I checked all the earths I could think of and they all seemed fine. Thanks though

Bits and pieces keep going wrong (because its a Mini), but yeah, I'm intending to keep it on the road
