Original 1275 Cooper S did 0-60 in about 12 seconds (depending on the testing mag) . Modern Cooper 1275 has rather less power, and is a bit heavier due to fancy trim etc - so slightly slower. There is no '1300' .

i own a 1275 spi cooper 1992 and its nice and quick due to the injection unit,they call it a 1.3i because of the injection but the standard engine is just a normal 1275 lump,but they are pretty good if you want ok performance and good fuel economy.good luck

SPI = single point injection.
BHP is about 61-63

To be pedantic, there was a "Mini Cooper 1300". It was built by Innocenti.
I might be buying a 1973 one shortly. Very nice trim and dash.
But very rare in this country, so I take your point.
The best road test figure I've seen for a standard Cooper 'S' 1275 is 11.3 seconds. I timed my rally car and the best I could get was 7.4 secs.
