We got on the boat, got our lunch in the restaurant and chose a table at the back so we could watch and see if anyone else made it since we were the only run car there when boarding started. Two more cars did make it, the purple Equinox and a black and yellow Mini (sorry guys I don't know you, that's really bad after a week away like that) and they were pretty much the last cars allowed on. Even as they were clearing passports other cars were being sent to wait for the next sailing. Then four more turned up, no more than a few minutes after the gates closed. I saw the Spitfire and I think I recognised Sams car, the other two were a white and a royal blue Mini. We really felt bad for you guys, you missed the departure by 10 minutes at the most I'd say. Hope you all got home OK.

i was one of them, lol, we were giving it some to get there but still missed it, nevermind. got home at bout 11:30 was a bit of a trek. good fun though

We were waving from the restaurant but I guess you couldn't see us from down there.

I was the blue mini with the roof box! Still made good time to get there, but just missed out
