Had some tidying up to do before anything could go back in, so we only managed to fit the L/H door step today, hopefully more progress next weekend.

Also got my matty gt17 manifold, i know you've all seen them but another won't hurt.

Cheers

I have also since decided to build this into track car, so you can see all the new panels have been stitch or seam welded into place for strength.
Oh and i went up to Wales last weekend to see Endaf Owens and picked up some goodies from him. Also got to check out all of this toys he has in his workshop, the miglia race cars were my favourite though and i now have some good ideas.

Right so my parts from endaf, fibreglass boot floor and alloy tank 6 gallon i think.

And my favourite, JKD straight cut dog box, with fd (3.6 i think) and cross pin diff. :-D

I also bought a dished steering wheel and snap off boss, and a denso alternator but no pics of that.
Ah also my lightweight doors, just need to fit the alloy skins.

Next job is tubing the arches.
Cheers, George.

Finally got some work done today, we braced the shell and dropped the old floor out.
Had some tidying up to do before anything could go back in, so we only managed to fit the L/H door step today, hopefully more progress next weekend.
Quite impressive. Hat off!

I'm going to attach the floor with rivets and also something to bond and seal it too, thats how they fit them in the migs.

Mines long gone replaced with a custom alloy mount and std radius arms and spax coilovers. Before my back started playing up i could lift the back end up on my own. Massive weight saving, but makes the back end less stable.

I would be interested to see your set up as it doesn't sound that conventional, if i have read that right.
Cheers, George.
