Ok so a mini update with some better pictures:
Firstly i now have my new maniflow lcb manifold and linkpipe to complete my exhaust set up also with a water heated inlet manifold, its much louder now but still needs more power, no pictures as there's not a lot to see.
Chrome door handle's was next on the list so all three were replaced and i fixed the locking mechanism on the drivers door.
Then i decided i really didn't like the orange indicators so i replaced them with clear ones with siver bulbs.
Here's a little picture of the engine at current, i've done a few different things like new ht leats, rocker cover with t bars, and a new coil, there will be much more done in future though.
Also here's a picture of the interior just so you can see how it is at the moment, it's got quite a way to go yet!
And finally i have my new glassfibre mk1 bonnet, this will hopefully be fitted this weekend if minisport kindly sent me 2 more pins!As you can guess this was very annoying as i really want to get this fitted.
Thanks for reading, please comment on anything, it would be greatly appreciated, look out for many more updates soon. Cheers, George.
Nice looking car bud, is it me or is your handle a bit wonky..
looks like it may have had new door skins..

I kept my innner wings and bolted the front to them, just like spot welding the new wings on..., you may have to have some brackets off your inner wings for the apanels to bolt onto, as mine bbolted with little M3 bolts down the seam and the cover covered them up and added abit more strength.

It doesn't look very noticable at all in person but i think you might be right, that picture shows it quite well, i will be sorting these doors out eventually though as there a bit rough and i'll make sure they go on straight then, cheers.Nice looking car bud, is it me or is your handle a bit wonky..

Yeah thats the plan, i was going to mount it at the inner Apanel, inner wing, and at the front, luckly there's quite a few how to sort of threads so it should be fairly painless.
Thanks all for the nice comments.

Also will be buying myself a mig welder hopefully this week, its this one, from what i've read it seems to be perfect for what i need to do, which is just general work on the car from time to time. Can't wait now.
