How To Install Distributor Driveshaft ?

I think it shows in the haynes.

Worst case you can just swap it round after, or swap the leads :thumbsup:

Hey Cidre boy, long time no see


As I recall!!

- remove rocker cover

- Turn engine over by hand till the valves on cylinder 4 are rocking back and forth

- Install dizzy drive(with the largest segment upper most) so it looks like an analogue clock showing 20 to3

Unless the engine and head are both off the car then set the engine at top dead centre(no 1 piston at top of stroke) and then set drive at 20-3


Hope this makes sense

good luck..................and use a 3" long bolt to install dizzy shaft.................. :thumbsup:
