Hi

What size is the big ball joint nut?

I will be attempting to replace the ball joints on my Mini this evening as I had to separtate them all during an engine swap. I need to go to my local motor factor on the way home from work and purchase a spanner and/or socket to fit the big ball joint nut. I'm guessing it's around 1' 1/2"?

It is 1 1/2" but is a long reach socket , spanner not really the correct tool the balljoints need to be torqued.
