@benjy i bought ages ago a thingy that you strip some of the outer from the speedo cable from and then it clamps on to it and converts the rotational movent into the electronic signal. now i havent tested it yet so dont no if it will work, so we shall see. if it does work i shall try and find out were i got the doubery from

@Ross do not worry it wont be wonky when its all back together after flocking.

Well i should of had my headlining arrive by now, and havent. so a quick email to chris at retro retrims and we discover that it got sent to someone else, DOH. so now ive got to wait a little bit longer to get it to me so i can fit it and make Vini water tight. never mind, at least i no were it is.

ok small update, havent been doing alot as ive been moving garages, so Vini is now in his new home but not a permanent one just one were he can live till hes complete and untill ive got a permanent house.

the dash got dropped off and flocked i have most of it back now, some bits the flockers ( ) werent happy with so they are re flocking them (i hope its a good flocking) but some pics of how it is at the moment havent fitted it yet but when it is fitted i shall get pics of that as well

I do love a flocking pun or two, lol

Me and dad have got one if the eleccy window Motors etc in door lock and handle on just need to sort out positioning for the central locking actuator in the door and rig up that mech then the doors can go on!!!

He's sooooo close to being done, the head lining should be going on, on sat of the weathers nice (the garage isn't big enough to work in and also the glue is abit smelly lol bring the "high" life lol) so once the head linings in then the windows can go in and the door rubbers can go on, that reminds me I need to refit the boot rubber as we fitted it up side down (face palm!!!) and the. Realised the boot wouldn't close lol.
But will get pics of stuff when I get a chance to take some and when we've done some photo worthy stuffs!!

@Ross, What are you impying about my headlining???? LOL i had never thought of it like a rug.

more piccies as promised, some during some after we had put the rubbers on, although weve got to remove the rubbers to trim it down round them at somepoint in the not tooooooo distant future.
