Best not rush it bud as you won't be happy with it and want to re do a lot of bits

Right this weekend we got the engine running properly, so that it idled with out the choke, and we got the exhaust or sealed so it doesnt leak etc,
we also fitted the door cards and handles (from dsn classics)



But discovered that the alternator isnt doing its job properly so weve taken it out and dads going to take it to an auto electrician to find out if its dead and if it can be fixed etc

This had been going on for agessssssssssss. MOT has to be soon ?

right dad has spoken to an auto electrician who explained how it should of been wired and were the wires should of gone, now it turns out that dad (who has re wired vini from scratch) earthed a wire that shouldnt of been earthed which has meant that the diodes inside have blown and it would cost £60 odd quid to fix it so ive bought a new one for £59 + PP so hopefully we can wire it up properly and have a mini that charges yay.

Yes its taking along time to do, but its going to be done as well as we can do it so were not rushing it, it was meant to be done for last sept for my wedding that didnt happen so im very eager to get him going and on the road. but i do have to say the engine sounds sweet!!!!!!!!

got the windscreen in and the wipers etc, and got the arches on, all that needs to be done now is to put the weather strips on the doors and bolt the seats in and get MOT and tax!!!!!

Well ive had to cancell the MOT, i thought because the car was running well on tickover that meant it was ok when driving, oooops its not, and is running lumpier than a lumpy thing on a lumpy day, so i need to get him rollling road and set up properly, annoingly the speedo isnt working proplerly and i dont think its picking up the signal from the sender
