i was just playing with the parts for my brake kit and noticed that the vented discs dont fit inside the callipers so i little email to simon@minispares and he told me i needed to buy the spacer kit so another £40 or so and i should actually be able to put them together grrrr

got some more painting and priming done tonight, did the drums in blue and the front calipers were primed and finished priming the springs.

Mate, try putting multiple, thinner coats on, then you won't get so many runs in your paint.

Believe it or not I had been trying to do it thin, but the paint wasn't sticking so I slapped it on. I mentioned this to bloke at work who asked if i had scuffed the surfice first, doh! >_< so that's what we did on the callipers and as you can see nooooo runs yay

Cheers Miniallsorts, got the hubs, discs, cv etc built yesterday, was abit of a laugh. dad was helping drift the bearing outer shell and got the rubber mallet stuck inside the bearing case 'because he hit it abit hard so had to cut the Mallet up to get it off and then applied not so much force lol

Right weve hit abit of problem trying to remove the drive shafts from the CV shoints in the hubs. we cant seem to get the spline out.

how do i do this??

hit it with a big hammer!

thats how ive done mine hold on to the shaft and just gentily tap the joint, just keep rotating it so your slowly nocking it of bit at a time, should come out

well we didnt hit anything lol as weve not managed to get a copper hyde hammer. but we did mange to seperate the knuckles from the rear trumpets but havent managed with the front ones grrrr
