Hi all,

does anyone have any electronics/ laser experience?

Because, as title, my Mini sets off my speed camera detector for no reason.

I have a snooper evolution, which uses GPS for fixed cameras and has two sensors which pick up handheld 'guns' and radar traps. In any other car it's fine, with no false alerts but if I rev the Mini, like accelerating on a dual carriageway, it triggers it, thinking it's picked up a laser.

Could it be due to the need for sheilding in the ignition system? Would that even trigger it?
I have no idea about these things!

Suppose its possible, radios, speakers and cb's need shielding too, and a snooper is just a tad more sensitive piece of kit
