I would like to make a super 'quick' (acceleration more than top speed) everyday road car (milage per gallon not really an issue); I have a '79 1275gt.

I plan on removing the engine (it is running fine), while I send it for a full body re-spray; before I do this I would like to upgrade the recommended parts so that they can be fitted at the same time, as I have absolutely no knowledge about engines and have done all I can on it so far.

I am in the process of up-rating the brakes to deal with the upgrade in power, and will eventually fit a supercharger and intercooler.

Any recommendations as to places in south wales who could really help or ideas as for parts that could help would be greatly appreciated.
