Right, i'm here to anoy everyone again with one of my engine upgrade questions.

If your not aware, its a 1275 Cooper, HIF44, Stage 1, SW5 cam and LB flywheel.

With the current spec, what sort of cylinder head should I be looking at to take full advantage of the upgrades? big valve, 12 stud?

What are the best/common mods to a head?

I'm not big on cylinder heads so if you could answer in simpleton terms.

One of our 1275cc Stage 3 heads sounds perfect for that spec

Basic spec is:

Ported & polished
3-angle valve seats
36mm inlets 31mm exhaust valves
180lbs springs

O yes I remember, took about 3 hours to get ot me because his Sat Nav was playing up! lol

haha yea I took the *yellow human water* out of him for that, he must have visited london on the way!

Yea he fitted it that weekend, car runs so much nicer but it still needs tuning up.

When I finally get some cash together and decide on what i'm doing i'll certainly be getting in touch.
