Good maintenance (including body structure) & careful preparation is the key to gettin an MOT on a Mini. It also helps to go to a garage where the guys understand Minis. My 1981 HL has just achieved it's 24th straight pass since I bought it in 1986. So, good luck to all for a successful MOT.
