Hi all,

Does anybody know where I can source a sling or chain from in the High Wycombe area? I need to take my engine out on Sat and have a crane, just nothing to attach it to the block.....

Any ideas would be welcomed!

Couldnt you find some strong rope and attach that round each side tightly?

as above nothing special needed, my 998 was put in the garden on the weekend and its just being lifted with that blue nylon rope

ive got one of those thick seat belt straps which i use, failing that just use a tow rope mate more that strong enough

I have just got a reel of that blue rope too. Its rated at 130kg, so should be fine.
