

Mot On Monday... Will I Fail On Having Black And White Number Plates?

Ok so i know im going to fail on my horn
because it doesnt work and i cant fix it (havnt tried) but will it fail on having black and white number plates when its a 1993 rover sprite.

but officially i believe you shouldn't pass no..

If the horn doesn't work it's either the setting of the horn itself, or the horn button. I had a car with a horn which didn't work, so i connected it straight to a power and earth. It worked, so that meant it was the horn button. To get around the problem I fitted a sprung toggle switch onto a small switch panel and wired power to the horn, a wire from the horn to the switch and another wire from switch to earth. It worked. It's not necessary that the original horn button should work, just that you have a working horn, if you see what I mean.
And yes, you will fail an black/white number plates.
