Well well well.........

Got abit more done tonight!

Pulled the subframe out from under the car! Got all the bits off of it so it can be sent away for cleaning








After all the subframe was stripped and put away. We had a look under the rear end to see what it was like, and this is what we found....

When i got home from work i went out to buy a few bits!




Dad cut out the rust out of the rear bins and welded some plates in... It got too late to use the grinder so that's a job for tomorrow now! ...







Whilst Dad was doing all the welding and stuff... I cleaned up the Gearbox and gave it a first coat of paint

Yeah i sure have! I have been out there since i walked in the door at 4pm

Erm where dad did the welding is the rear bins! They don't look much like them because of all the rust

Yeh once everything is painted on the engine and gearbox i can start putting it back together You can always come and help my paint it babes! if you dont mind getting your nails dirty

I told dad that you wanted your engine yellow! He Said that's fine and when ever you are ready he will do it for you!

Also about your Dizzy! you can have my old one as i a buying a new uprated one... there is nothing wrong with it and i will get that metre thing so you can do away with your points!

Thanks mate! Took my sweet time cleaning it up!

Right just put the second coat of paint on! Hope it dries quickly so i can start putting the engine back together

Yes SIR!

Tonight got both rear 1/4 pannels off and found some more rot in the O/S Rear Wheel arch!

Got a plate made up and welded in position. Got the Rear subframe in postion too to drill the holes!
