Erm well... i have the block and everything stripped down... I have just got it back from being re-bored. So that only needs a clean and then that can be painted.... I need to send the head away to be skimmed and then that can be painted and put the new valves and springs back in..

We are concentrating on doing the bigger bits of the body work whilst the engine is sent away!

Well i wouldn't say we was nearly done... Its just a matter of case when one thing is done the rest kind of just falls into place.. The body work is the main priority at the moment because we need to have it painted by Christmas...

Nah man...

We have found a guy that works in a backstreet body shop.. We went to get a quote for the insurance repairs and sray when i crashed the Cooper. Me and my dad both really liked him because he knows what he is doing and has worked on mini's all his life.

Unfortunatly because he is not VAT registered he didn't repair the Cooper we had to send it somewhere else...
But on a better note he has quoted me about £800 for the respray. Thats the cheepest quote i have got so far! :)

Yeah lets hope so... I had to take mine off because all of the rain water was coming into the rear window and going all over my Amp and 6x9's.
How big is the new aerial you have got then? Did you get it off the same company we got the radio's off?

It's 1.45 meters, i havnt put it on yet but it will look wicked. Yeah it is from the same company, called a Mythos 9000........I think!

I gotta seal up where the wire goes in, might try using some neoprene or something

Ahh cool i will go on the website and have a look...!

Instead of trying to seal it through the rear windows my dad was on about making a bracket that bolts off the rear bumper or somthing... then the bigger aerail wounldn't be so high about the car..
