Hi all
Has anyone got pics or even a quick guide of how to put the copper piping ive seen on cooper's and such where theres a small bit of heater pipe from the engine to the copper pipe which runs across infront of the rocker cover held by brackets bolted to the head studs. Im doing it to tidy up my engine bay as it looks like a bomb's gone off under there!
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers

Thats great! Do the brackets actually hold it or does the pipe just "float" on the brackets? Also can you give me any dimensions and length for the pipe?

I used two female brake pipe union on top of the head studs. Then I've bolted 15mm pipe fittings onto the rain shield brackets on top of the unions. I don't think they're necessary, but they do keep it straight.

I don't think dimensions would be much help to you. It's more a case of trial and error. That was my third attempt. The 90o curve on the right goes up as well. Then the other end I just kinked to attach to the bit of rubber hose.

Is your current set-up the same as mine? 5/8" hose with the floating valve?
