I'm 18If your 16 then good luck with insurance, I can see them rubbing their hands with glee now, "vtec, 17, £6,000 is the cheapest we can do"
Dont run before you can walk, build up some no claims on your insurance first and get some driving years under your belt, I wouldn't think about any conversion until your at least 21, you can do it by all means but your insurance will cripple you (if you get any).

Considering your paying £1800 at 18 and it's not a vtec, how about at 17 with a vtec and a car classed as highly modified

Yeah thats fair point.... Jamie who used to have a 2.0ltr 8v was insured for £1900.... all depends who you get on the end of the phone!Yeh I was just saying, your paying 1800, its got to be over 4k for a vtec conversion.
Sorry if it came across wrong...
