I've just brought a fse PBV kit, i've read the instructions which give a general fitting guide.
Does anyone have pictures or instructions of where best to mount and fitted on a mpi cooper.

The main concern is the return fuel pipe which is metal with a swaged end and its tells you to cut to length and cap off return pipe from rail is this right?

Is it best to buy new fuel pipes to go to the rail so if you remove valve you can put it back to standard.

It just seems a little drastic to cut the ends off fuel pipes

any ideas please.

See this link - PBV

You may be able to fit yours to the front nearside inner wing, just above the horn? I have a bloody great Clifford Alarm Siren there on mine so can't get it in, also I have fitted the Ultimate Engine Steady Bar which makes fitting near the Wiper Motor a tight fit also !!!

It fits as i thought it would by cutting up the return pipe, didnt get one of those niffty little gauges though.

Thanks for the reply its been a great help. :(

PBV didn't come with the gauge, bought it as an extra so I can be sure of pressure. Ebay have them advertised for about £5.00 (I have a spare one somewhere if you can't find one).

Suggest cutting the flexible with just enough to get a plug in the end.
