I used to go to a lot of gigs in my late teens early 20s and I had some top nights out watching King Kurt at the Pink Toothbrush in Rayleigh Essex. But that was over 20years ago and I've not been to any gigs for ages.

Not long ago I was listening to some of the younger skaters at the local skatepark talking about the moshpits at the local indie night and I wondered what they would have made of being down the front at a Meteors concert, I doubt if any of them would have survived?

The misses was never a fan of billy music, but shes going out tonight so I might have a listen to some of my old vinyl LPs.

It's great going to a proper psychobilly gig!
Me and my dad go torhem all the time, went to see king kurt early on in the year and we saw the meteors a few months back.
Went to see guana batz a few months ago too.
Absolutly brilliant.
My dad I an old skool billy, he knows all the band member if guana batz, king kurt, the meteors ect, use to hang out with them when he was a youngen!
I guess it's nice for him to see me doing the same!
I went to see the polecats last weekend, that's a bit mire rockabilly, was a great night!!

Psychobilly is fantastic, being based in Germany for lots of years I have been to loads of gigs as the scene here is a lot stronger than in UK.
Demented are Go still my favourite, always awesome live, really like Mad Sin, Scum Rats, Klingonz, Batmobile to name a few.
You just cant beat a good wrecking session.

Haha, i go to school with twonks like that, and i know that if any of them when to what was considered a proper mosh they'd be completely screwed.

I'm into punk/ska....but love the whole rockabilly/psychobilly style!!

Most typical place would be Ace cafe or Boston Arms for gigs! me thinks I'm gonna have to venture to these someday!

Milkcow magazine is best for gig guide!!
