But the problem she has is whilst trying to watch a DVD using 'Windows Media Player', there is no sound and this error message pops up: -
Error:
Audio format is not supported by the current application. Please launch %s in MCE.
It will play a CD with sound no problem though and we're no experts and we haven't got a clue what it means or why the sound isn't working with DVD's. We've only just tried playing a DVD with it and so we don't know if it was working prior to Windows Service Pack 2 being installed.
We'd really appreciate it if anyone has any knowledge on how to correct this problem and can help us out.
Although having said that she can play DVD's via the 'Acer Arcade Deluxe' movie playback programme instead and that will play both the picture and sound. It's just Windows Media Player that's the problem.
