Cheers mate, yeah I'm a big fan of recycling used parts from my local scrappy, I've had:
Black carpet set (£10!)
Rev counter
walnut glovebox lid and clock fascia
Gearknob
Horn
Ford EDIS unit
Ford coilpack
Ford VR sensor
Going back on monday as I've asked for a price on a set of twin carbs they have in there. (shhh secret!)

GOOD NEWS!
I passed my test today, only 3 minors for little things, so I'm over the moon. Now for MOT, TAX and insurance, then it's big road debut! Cheers guys,
JJ

Cheers guys!
The wheels in the first picture came spare and unfitted to the car, only reason I didn't put them back on is the ones which came on the car (which are fitted now) had a new set of tyres on.
Retro rally is the way forward, I'd have your grill mate but now I have to spend money on MOT TAX and insurance!

Bit of an update, I'll be booking it in for it's MOT next week, and will tax and insure it at the end of this month! Can't wait now!
Also, I've started hoarding parts for a big freshen up. I took delivery of my white vinyl headlining (huge thanks to optimise automotive, got it for free on their spring giveaway, its absoloutly gorgeous with all of the pillar trims). Also, I have new tie bars and bushes to fit.
Oh, just won a centre speedo on ebay, immaculate with almost correct mileage, for £12.51
I'm thinking a autoplas / rokee dash is in order as I need to hide the megajolt trickery.

Thanks guys! Yeah I can't wait now, going to be a good summer out in the mini!
Today I painted the ghastly yellow calipers and drums red, as every 17 year old knows it instantly adds 10 bhp. Also, gave it a nice wash and polish, so it's gleaming now, I'll get pictures up tomorrow!
