I've just been given a set of chrome wheel arch spats for nowt. Still in the wrappers and narry a scratch.

As they're free i'm tempted to use them, although i have a feeling they may make my mini look like a cheap handbag. It's a nightfire red Mayfair with a black roof and black "cobra" stripes on bonnet and boot, plus 12" GB Minilitealikes and "Special" arches............Sorry i've no pics, i still live in a mainly analogue world.


Opinions/pictures welcome........and my apologies to anyone with chrome spats that i may have offended.

I have never liked the chrome arches myself & the way you describe your red & black mini i'm sure the black arches suit it better !

I have to agree, personally I think Chrome arches, eyebrows on lights, chrome edges on rear edge of doors etc are just too flashy

I don't really like chrome wheel arches myself. get some black group 2's on their will look alot better.

I set them on last night held with masking tape, then i stood back for a look.











They're now at the back of my shed with all the other stuff i'll never use.

I was chatting to the head of the IT department this morning, and i showed him a pic of my Mini. He then told me that he had 4 Mini wheels that i could have.....for free!!!

No, they ain't Revolutions (That would have been too much of a coincidence.) but they are 12" Minlites.
