Hi

Can any one help me please, i have just bought a mini cooper s john cooper works convertable 54 plate.

And on the electrical dash it beeped at me today when driving in to work a temp of 3.0oC. Is this the coolant temp?

Also when the engine is hot and i come to a stop and take out of gear ready to turn off it judders like it is going to stall, any ideas what this will be? it is on finance so if a major issue will be going back to be looked at.

Thank you

Bonnie

That'll be the outside temperature. It'll be warning you that it's cold outside and could be getting icey on the roads.

As for juddering, take it back to the dealer. It could be that there's a slight air leak from a vacuum hose on the injection side of thing, or it could be one of any number of sensors that needs sorting. If it's a regular occurence, get it checked out sooner rather than later.

I'd hope you wouldn't have 3.0 C coolant temperature!
