hi all,
does anyone no which order the leads go on the distributor cap? i no the engine firing order but some bright sprak just pulled my leads off,

well the order is 1-3-4-2 (anticlockwise) so just trial and error should do it. You can normally rule out a couple of options depending on how far the leads can reach.

Get piston one too TDC and number one spark plug lead should be on the top right. I think thats it, not sure without looking.

Number 1 is around the top right somewhere about the 2 o'clock position usually and it turns anti clockwise.
