will a 1000cc engine driveshaft fit a 1275 engine cheers :wink:

Depends on the type of output from the differential. If it is the same type then it should fit, some 1275's had hardy spicer type output flanges (bolted on rather than pot joint).

if you are swapping the whole driveshaft over, the 998 driveshatf will have smaller outer CV joints, so you'll have to put on your existing outer CV

Sorry, I assumed he was doing an engine swap and wanted to retain original complete driveshafts.

Only if you are converting from drums to disks...
CV's are the same between all disk model's with the exception of the 7" cooper mk1 disks.
