yesterday i had to repair my headlight wiring by creating two looms from scratch, i also swapped my bonet for a fibreglass one that i am very pleased with.

i fitted my grey headlight rings and stone guards too. the effect seems to be retro and a bit W&P

heres the pictures

wow, smart mini! I think you should go with a Matte Black Mk1 Grille and tash to keep the stealth look going! ;)

both lights now work, had a few problems at first, corroded terminals that needed buffing, then the car wouldn't start but the lights worked then the lights worked and the car wouldn't start, i put this down to poor earthing, so scraped the crap of the earthing bolt in the boot and there we go. im so pleased that everything is going well.

i was wondering if anyone knows why my indicators just stay on and dont flash?

alex sorry its just easy to just say that, as its quite a unique arrangement for our mini restoration project ha ha.

anyway one side of Dave is welded and primed and looking great. expecting the rest to be complete on Tuesday or Wednesday. i have also ordered some lovely yoko A008s for my brand new refurbished 10 x 6 wellers. im just hoping they will fit my fiesta callipers. but im sure they will. wellers no spacers!

also the high-lows are fitted and the exhaust is being mounted, this is gona be one low mini... when i get around to tubing the arches.

other things i have ordered are grill buttons in blue and blue bonnet pins, oh and mrk one rear light conversion plates. for my mrk1 grill

watch this space.

i just need a licence to drive and i will be sorted ahaha
