Hey all long time no see, i have spent about a 5 days pushing my project towards respray and MOT. i have fixed my broken windscreen with a green sun visor so that looks the business and also,

Tip: i found that fitting the windscreen was much easier with silicone lubricant and as its water soluable its perfect really.

heres alot of chrome, note the spotlights what do you think of them?

i have been busy doing so many things to my mini i cant even remember, unfortunatly i have problems only for more to apear.

there are some very strange problems that i will need some serious help with. for example my electrics work and then they dont and then they do again depending on daves mood, the red relay under the dash is now buzzing very loudly when lights are on and the full beam now doesnt work... this frustrating as i managed to fix everything and create two wireing looms from scratch for the headlights.

i have done a great job of removing a huge hole in the scutle panel that was bodged with a pice of card and some filler...... that silly previous owner what a cowboy! everytime i think i have fixed his shody workmanship more apears.

it seems he was quite keen to use filler instead of welding.

I was just admiring the front end photo in your avatar. That square spotlight/mk1 grille combo is really nice, quite unique too.

thank you, i was going for a, if i was a 1960s tuner developing a mini what would i do? kinda look inspired by W&P

the future of my project rests on my new flat i think, theres a load of garages outside so i will just rent one

daniel190 will be taking over from here on he has the means to finish the car and i couldnt have asked for a nicer guy to take it on, he may also be keeping my original plan for styling.

adam, im keeping dave how you wanted him and he is almost on the road, the electrics are all sorted, the back winndow is in, the brake disc and calipers have been done, cv boots done, im in the process of paint dave with spray cans to make him one colour, and then have to fit the arches, not long till he is up and going again, will post pictures soon, cheers dan,

God I miss that Car, this was a very stupid swap. Still I have a metro for the moment.
