Hiya,
Im doing a 998 Build at the moment, and the time has come to select a clutch plate, there is a myriad of choices out there so heres the scenario,
The car is very cammy, and will be putting about 70Brake at the Flywheel.
Im going to use the car as a daily Driver, with country lane bashings, and occasional Track use and maybe the one off Amateur Rally,

The clutches on minispares are:
Racing Road: C-AHT596
Rally/Road: C-AHT595
And then theres this beast: http://minispares.co.....INISPARES 5... What is so good about it?

The Clutch i would like it to laast for as long as possible, and im quite a heavy user of the clutch such as riding it and using it to hold me on hills.

So can some one please clear up what all these clutches are, and what kind of application they are for

Just use a standard plate - nothing fancy required.

Put your foot back on the floor from time to time then! >_< Seriously though it doesn't matter what plate you use if you keep your foot on the pedal, the release bearing will burn out long before the clutch plate if you drive like that.

In that case fit a cerametallic clutch plate....... you can still wear these out, however it will cure your bad habits :(

Get rid of this problem and you can use anything you like!
