What Size Is My Alternator/fan Belt?

hi every one i have a 1983 austin mini 1000 city e and i have been advised that the alternator/fan belt needs replacing.i was wondering if anyone new what size it is? >_<

It's usually written on the belt with a "code". Something like 10x### - meaning width & lenght in mm. There are two sizes, depending on which water pump pulley is on your engine.

It's either 10x825mm (smal pulley) or 10x835mm (large pulley).

Take the belt along to a motor factors and they'll match it up.
