hello

my name is Alexandre and I am 29 years old. I leave in france near Auxerre (Yonne). I'm registered here because by I was looking for radical preparations on Mini, I fell on your forum and realization of zcars !

And just I wanted to say is that it excite me to see all these mini car with big big capacity of acceleration. Some preparation are very very incredible(450HP!!!!!!)

I have nearly had a Mini as first car, but the one that I was to see was absolutely made rusty and I still did not have knowledge essentials to restore it.

So i bought a Peugeot 205 lacoste and further to that there I had 7 of it, :

205 Lacoste 60hp (my first car)
205 CTI 1.6 115hp
205 GTI 1.6 115hp
205 Dturbo 78hp
205 Xld 60hp
205 GTI 1.9 130hp
205 Rallye 1988

and I have just two now(no accident with any of her, just sold or kept):

a 205 Rallye 1988 full-stock that I restored entirely, and a 205 Xld, which is devoted to circuit(i have a lot of pictures if you want) and that I am taking back up and who is soon going to accept a motor of 605 TCT(2.0 turbo, 150HP), boost in about 200HP dependable, because i want it well when my wife will drive with !!!!!(i love my wife! ) .

You have to know that I am handicapped of the left hand because of an accident of motorbike in 2003 with a Honda 600 hornet, but now I have honda CBR 1000 RR 2008 full black and full stock (in France it means 106hp... ;) )too. And this motorbike serves me only for quiet walk(?) with my wife, (what a pity you will say to me for a sportsbike!), because their figure more now that with my 600 Hornet.

but me and my girlfriend wich have the same passion of the Mini, we want to build a mini with vtec engine or bike engine, just dedicate to circuit. That's why too, I look at your assemblages to define the expense and see if it is possible to adapt them for a behaviour to the left ride hand.

thank you and sorry if my english is not very well, my english lessons date of for a long time...

Alex

Hi Alex, and good luck with your mini project!

From having read other people's threads on the mini forum, if you are in Europe and have to order parts it all gets a bit more expensive, so do factor that in when asessing the costs. I'm sure you and your girlfriend (and/ or wife!) will have lots of fun doing the project ;)

so after all that, gone on Lurcy-lévis for having fun with my friend Kévin with is blue Saxo VTS 1.6 16v, my brother and some friends. I had a lot of problem during this day: cable throttle brock, gasket of the top of the engine blow off, and the oil took fire...
