If the driver is going that speed limit then they shouldnt have any bother with them being in odd places.

I can't say they dont warn you as wherever there is a speed camera, a speed limit is close before.

Maybe some of them hid behind signs are taking the mickey a bit but the warnings there.
Vandalised speed cameras can be laughed at, but it's our taxes paying for a new one to be put back in place..

I hate speedos. They caught me, I had just bought the car and got done about 5 minutes after driving it home as they didn't tell me the speedo was out by 8mph. The thing is my mum and dad drive through speedos 10mph over the limit all the time and they never flash!

mobile speed traps are the worst, i got caught in august :S

A gatso thing got burnt where I live - there was much rejoicing for several weeks

we had a proper fen-billy out near norwich, he thought he got nicked by a camera, so went back the next day and filled it full of meths and set fire to it.
he didn't know it was an empty box, as it had been vandalised before......so he got nicked and sent down for 3 months for burning an empty box!
