Minispares used to, but they have been unavailable for 18 months or more.
You can have the std flywheel lightend, but not by a huge amount, and there are mixed thoughts as to whether its wise.
But I've never heard of one actualy shattering after being done. (Scary thought).
The other option is to fit a lightend flywheel and a trigger wheel to the crank damper pulley, but i don't know if it can be made to work with the factory ECU, others will have to advise.

Yes it does work, but you have to fully appreciate and understand how the MPi trigger pattern is set up to make it work
MED do a nice new ultralight verto non injection flywheel You just need a fully adjustable crank trigger kit, and a short length of screened two core wire.

sounds nice but need just the lightened flywheel (if anyone does one). have spent enough on this engine already, without going for trigger wheels etc

Kad did some alyminium flywheels with the pockets for the reluctors for injection minis,
they still have some but dont have any friction surfaces to go on them,
if enough people badger them i'm they may finish them off.

thanks for the reply. i need one this week otherwise the standard flywheel will be going back on.
the spec of the engine is roughly as follows
1360 block, hypertech pistons.
standard crank, with new bearings
centre crank strap
sw5i billet camshaft with piper vernier timing gears
new oil pump/ high capacity water pump
cooper head, ported, polished, back cut valves, bronze guides, double sprung
1.5 roller rockers
compression ratio of 10.7:1
ported/matched inlet manifold
modfied dellorto 52mm throttle body
k &n induction
manifolw lcb, decat pipe, 2 inch maniflow backbox
think thats it. will be running standard rover injection system
to be coupled with a fast road clutch plate, close ratio gearbox with 3.2 final drive, hardened diff pin, centre oil pickup.
would have been nice to have an 'of the shelf' lightened flywheel, just to get the engine spinning up a little quicker. cant wait for kad and it would probably be out of my price range, ie it would not beifit the engine sufficiently to warrent paying a premium price for the part.
