Whats The Best Mig Welder To Purchase

HI,

need to get a new mig welder and wanted to ask what welders are best suited to working on your mini ?
The common opinion is clarke are the best, please note only wnating to spend around £250 or so.

any help and coments would be welcome.

Hi there i recently bought a clarke 151te, great little welder, very happy with it, cost me around 250.

wicked thanks for letting me know can you tell me were you got it from? as the only place i can find is Machine Mart and would rather get from some were else if can help it!

there's a guy on www.mig-welding.co.uk called weldequip who's prices are good and service is excellent.

Just been on the mig-weld site but cant find any shop or anything for weldequip (apart from private messaging him) and no location. Do you know where he is and if he has a shop (eg ebay)?

Machine mart are good for welding supplies and accesories.

Clarke welders are perfect for diy use, i've got a 151 too. Really good bit of kit.

ive got and had for around 6 years now a clarke 90. perfect little welder, esspectially for minis. 90amps burn mini rot lovely haha

i bougt a snap on 130 turbo of a guy on mig-welding £100 including postage and it is so easy to use its great

pm weldequipe he is as good as they say!

i got a clarke 165tm from him was brilliant welder and i recently upgraded it to a portamig 185 with a 15 amp bottom end (with mig brazing capability) excellent service quick delivery

all the best
he will beat machine marts prices and does repair kits and parts for all of them
