I got this dvd, aaaages ago in a shop, it was something like £20. My mum got it for me because she'd just spent loads on my sister (on clothes, funnily enough). So i assumed it'd be half good. Even though i just discovered right now that it's about a fiver on ebay.

Though, it was actually the biggest piece of crap ever to be put on disk.

This was around last year i got it, and then i felt even worse when someone got it for me again for Christmas (they didnt know i had it already obviously.)

Its pretty much a boring, badly dressed middle aged man walking round malvern interviewing people (badly) that dont want to be interviewed.

I was just watching it again now just to see if it had somehow improved in that year since i got it and its just got worse..

If you where someone looking to get into the mini scene and bought this to get a feel of what its like, you'd sell your mini within the hour of watching it.

It even put me off when i know its nothing like whats portrayed on the dvd...

(That being dull people walking around having dull conversation in dull weather saying all that cliche'd stuff that people say only the once)

Sorry if i've wasted your time, but i just want people to know not to waste there money on this

Its SHOCKING

Damn you pegasus records. :(

Studying media at college and thinking about doing something like this for the final project...

If it's as bad as you claim, I might just interview a packet of crisps with gratuitous clips of minis tootling along and sell that

I'd put it in 'Room 101' as it's that bad (along with the Mini DVD from Past Times which I think is the same but repackaged?) But most of the DVD's on Minis aren't much better (except for the Heritage Motoring Films Mini DVD's that is. But their just extended DVD versions of video's they released in the 1990's).

There were some very good Mini video's released back in the 1990's like 'Mini Magic' (that featured a variety of interesting Mini activities from current Mini rallying to Castle Combe), so I don't know why nobody has released anything decent considering it's the cars 50th birthday this year.

Have you seen the one by "Green umbrella"? covering L2b, 2005 i think? Its bassically Alex Moulten saying 'Damn' alot of times and then him driving a mini about.

The book was good though =].
