hey all, recently passed my test and love driving my mini only problem is that it is running on a higher tockover (going to get it turned down on the weekend) but the clutch's biting point seems quite hard to feel is this because the tick over is running high?

ive driven a few of my mates minis at the clutched all seem to feel a little different, however, once you have more experience driving you wont need to feel for a biting point, just keep driving and itll become second nature.

the idle speed shouldnt affect the clutch as you need to up the revs to pull away anyway.

is your clutch pedal stiff?

What's the spec on your engine (and more specifically the cam)? Some engines aren't happy idling at 700-800rpm and need to be set closer to 1000-1100rpm.
