Hey guys,

Has anyone had wheels off Huddersfield mini spares from a show lately? IF so, did you get an invoice with them??

I have just noticed that mine have started going all white around the centre caps! And i know i didn't get an invoice with them when i got them from Binley Hall.
So i wonder where i stand with them???

Any ideas??

cheers

Sounds like they are oxidising which is common with the polished wheels as the laquer lifts and salt and grit gets behind, did you treat them with a wheel sealent? It stops that from happening.

You could phone them and ask.

Ive never had a recept for wheels I brought of them.

Paul.

I bought a set at Bingley Hall and didn't get a receipt. I have emailed several times asking for one but they have'nt bothered replying. Not very impressed with them to be honest.

I visited the shop earlier in the year and i thought the service was pretty poor, the shop was busy so i put it down to that. but the guy spoke to me about some wheels then someone else came into the shop. He said he would be back in 2 mins and went outside. I waited about 10-15 mins and he didnt come back. so after a 1 1/2 hour drive there i thought sod it and drove home.

But im going back tomorrow to get some tyres so i will see what the service is like then.

Andy (the owner)can barely turn a computer on, let alone read emails. give him a call and things will get sorted as he is oldschool.

when buying at shows you will find its normally cheaper as without a receipt the tax man can be avoided in some cases. if you want a receipt then you will normally pay more.

if you want a receipt you have to get one at the time of purchase. do you think tesco would give you a receipt for something you bought the week before, i dont think they will as they have no proof you got the items from them.

I bought my wheel package from them about a year ago, ordered one day to collect the next & when i got there & we were putting them in my car the guy pointed out a mark on one of the wheels that i had'nt even noticed & probably wouldnt have, he put another one together while i waited !

If you paid by card then sometimes bank statements can be used as proof of purchase? Especially if they aint giving receipts!

Never had a problem with Huddersfield minispares, i'd just contact them by phone. I'm literally 2 mins away from Minisport but always use Huddersfield or Minispares ......... Hmm, what does that say I wonder.
