Can anyone tell me how to decode trim codes? My code is PMA.

PMA is a paint code which is the same as mine
It was used from 83-89
There will be another code on the thing you read yours off which is the trim code

PMA is a paint code which is the same as mine
It was used from 83-89
There will be another code on the thing you read yours off which is the trim code


RCR is my paint code...BRG/White. PMA is definitely the trim code....its on the id plate as such.

Well it might mean black interior as PMA is black
Mine is PMA paint code
and JNC?? trim code

Trying to figure out if my interior is original. It is full green leather with black door cards. The car is 1996.

This site helps you understand your vin number,there is a second page as well for later models,handy stuff.

Assuming it's not a Cooper 35 as it's not the right colour, in 96 green leather wasn't an option, and from 97 when it became an option it had matching door cards (as did the Cooper 35), so I suspect the interior is not the original,
