Hi is it possible to put breather valves on my Mpi from clutch, timing chain covers etc? I realise it doesn't need them as it works fine with the vacuum unit it has but it's another thing to do and looks better than a load of tubes all over the place, anything to neaten the engine bay up.

Cheers

Dan

I believe most people will say for a road car to leave these piped to the vacuum - this creates negative pressure in the crankcase, thus sucking all fumes and condensation out. I had a 1380 which scummed up the oil terribly due to what i believe down to these breathers.

Yeah, you really want a vacuum to suck the crankcase fumes out. Any oil will just be burned off and your engine will thank you more for it.
