I bought my mpi a couple months ago and the bloke i bought it from gave me a new thermostat for it as he said it needed one.

What exactly does it do?

Where does it go (pics would be great )?

and also is it hard to replace?

a thermostat is responsible for the tempreture regulation on an engine. if you look at your engine it connects to the top radiator hose, its actually under the housing. its not to differcult to replace 3 bolts and you will see it. hth. andy
