I've done a little bit of research on this but hit a few dead ends so thought I'd open this up to the combined learned knowledge of you lot...

My flame red RSP is now in the garage having all of its rotten bits ripped out, replaced and rubbed down, prior to a full respray. My goal is to restore it to as near original spec as is reasonably possible, so I am going to need to source the most authentic decal stickers that I can, but I have a couple of queries...

I can find plenty of white Mini Cooper Laurels and pinstripes, but I'm a little confused by, for example, Mini Spares' "kits" that include the laurels and stripes together but the kits are all described as Sportspack kits - did the later Sportspack Coopers have a different design? Different size? Secondly, I'm having trouble tracking down anyone who supplies the "John Cooper" black sticker for the centre of the bonnet stripes. Plain stripes are ten a penny, but the RSP has the John Cooper signature in black with a relatively thick white border stuck on the top (I'm not sure if there was any particular variation in this design on any other Coopers although I'm sure I've seen them with a much thinner white border in the past. I know I could get these custom printed, but it seems unlikely that these aren't available "off the shelf" so why can't I find them?!

I've never had a response from the RSP Register... Anyway I've ordered them from Somerford Mini. 50 quid the set. *fans bank card*

Meh - I've bought them now. I've already been haemmoraging money this week on panels and things so what's another 50 quid? :D

I was particularly drawn by the fact that the ones I was most worried about matching (the John Cooper bonnet stripe strickers) are apparently OEM from Somerford.
