Thanks for the section Becs and Shifty.

Although if Shifty asks for his own classifieds section say no. It's bad enough at the meets when he's trying to flog his tat.

Let the innuendo bingo begin !!

I thought i would post in this section because everyone in here is clued up.

I ordered a new dashboard and some vinyl about a month ago and it has been made and delivered. I am wondering how to dismantle the dashboard to fit the dash and the top and bottom aswell so i can fit the vinyl.

how do i start? once i start ill should be alright but i need some advice...

Thank you in advance... ill put some pictures up later if anyone is interested in my custom dash >_<

Not exactly sure from you're description which bit you're unsure about. You might also find that your query gets moved to the Tech Questions section depending on the TMF adminers. You should also do a search on the subject, as this one will have puzzled many people. It'll be in the Haynes Manual probably as well. Still nevertheless, here's my thoughts.

The dash fascia will be fitted by some brackets and screws somewhere. I don't know where as my mini doesn't have the full width dash. The top dash rail is fitted by 4 bolts and nuts, you'll have to feel around underneath the rail for them. The bottom rail is a padded foam item glued on to the metal rail beneath. Best thing to do really is search on here, where it'll be covered in much more detail.
