are you asking for alternatives for the placement of an aerial?im a little confused, read on if you are, ignore if your not.

i recently had mine moved from the standard wing position (after someone snapped the old one off :D )
its on the roof now and makes my car look like a remote control car

I typed blaupunkt dab ariel on ebay, this is the item number 110277625031

£35.00. but make sure it works with your dab set. I got a blaupunkt woodstock 54 dab/cd you can also get an attachment for your ipod. check it out on ebay.
good luck

it just sticks on and you have a couple of thin bits of wire inside a strip of selotape that sticks down the glass. there are three wires, an earth that I attached to the sun visor screw, a power lead that comes off the stereo and the ariel wire itself. I ran the wires along the top of the glass and down the pilar, then behind the dash to the stereo. the dab is awesome but some areas drop the signal. make sure it works with your stereo, it must be dab, no more fm. z

Yeah its not perfect, but I wouldnt say it was crap.. I think it looks alot better than having an aerial hanging out, and its only a bit worse on reception.. I dont have any intention of changing it, and I am quite fussy about the sound as I have fitted a total of 1000w of speakers and would be dissapointed if it was really noticeably bad.
For £13 you might as well give it a go if your considering it, as its very easy to fit and to remove (if you decide against it)
